The Team
The majority of the team have been together since starting in the clubs Little Eagles development section before moving into the RFYL as an under 7’s team.
We pride ourselves on being brave on the ball and developing our skills to create technically good, creative players who can make their own decisions within the game without the fear of making mistakes.
We have a fantastic set of parents who buy into and support our philosophy and win, lose, or draw they celebrate and enjoy the type of football that the boys try to play.
The team were proud to be undefeated RFYL Division 3 Champions in the 25/26 season. In this season the team were also named the Newton Aycliffe Youth FC’s inaugural winners of the Brian Rose Team of the Year Award, at the clubs end of season awards presentation.

Manager / Coach
Gary is one of the clubs longest serving coaches.
He has coached the boys since Little Eagles, before then taking them into their first season at Under 7’s and has been with them ever since.
He holds the UEFA B Licence for coaching football and is the clubs current Head Coach/Club Mentor.
Previously Gary coached the clubs first ever Under 23’s squad, who he joined when they were an Under 11’s team, and he stayed with them from then and through their five seasons in the Under 23’s League, before they entered the Wearside League as the clubs first senior men’s team.
Gary also coaches Billingham Town FC in the Northern League for the 26/27 season. He previously coached and was assistant manager for Esh Winning FC in the Northern League for the 22/23, 23/24, 24/25, 25/26 seasons.

Goalkeeper Coach
Dan is a dedicated and knowledgeable coach to the lads.
He uses his years of playing experience in guiding the lads to develop their skills, in particular with our goalkeeper, who has massively benefitted from
Dan’s work with him, as the team’s goalkeeper coach.
Dan values teamwork, and sportsmanship, and is passionate about fostering a positive and supportive environment, where he encourages fun, learning, and personal growth for our young players.
