The Team
The majority of the team have been together since starting in the clubs Little Eagles development section before moving into the RFYL as an under 7’s team.
We pride ourselves on being brave on the ball and developing our skills to create technically good, creative players who can make their own decisions within the game without the fear of making mistakes.
We have a fantastic set of parents who buy into and support our philosophy and win, lose, or draw they celebrate and enjoy the type of football that the boys try to play.

Manager / Coach
Gary is one of the clubs longest serving coaches.
He has coached the boys since Little Eagles, before then taking them into their first season at Under 7’s and has been with them ever since.
He holds the UEFA B Licence for coaching football and is the clubs current Head Coach/Club Mentor.
Previously Gary coached the clubs first ever Under 23’s squad, who he joined when they were Under 11’s and stayed with them from then and through their five seasons in the Under 23’s League, before they entered the Wearside League as the clubs first senior men’s team.
Gary also coaches Esh Winning FC in the Northern League.

Chris is a dedicated coach and mentor to the lads.
He values helping the children develop a lifelong love for sports, while building confidence, resilience, and essential life skills.
With a warm and supportive approach, he believes in creating a safe and inclusive environment where kids can thrive, learn, and grow as individuals and teammates and is committed to inspiring confidence and teamwork.

Goalkeeper Coach
Dan is a dedicated and knowledgeable coach to the lads.
He uses his years of playing experience in guiding the lads to develop their skills, in particular with our goalkeeper, who has massively benefitted from
Dan’s work with him, as the team’s goalkeeper coach.
Dan values teamwork, and sportsmanship, and is passionate about fostering a positive and supportive environment, where he encourages fun, learning, and personal growth for our young players.
