The Team
The Under 11’s boys Eagles are mostly a group of boys who started out in the Little Eagles Section and have been playing together ever since, many since the ages of 5 and 6 years old. They started their football journey together and have grown as a team ever since, with new players introduced along the way. Since taking their first steps into competitive football as under 8s they have continued to develop, putting into practice what they have learned and bringing their experience together on the pitch when it comes to matchdays.
With three full seasons of playing competitive football behind them these boys have turned into a really good team, full of technically gifted, fast, fit and extremely enthusiastic young footballers. They have all progressed tremendously well as individuals, but it is the progression of the team as a whole which have been most impressive, the boys are beginning to bring a sense of team coordination, positional awareness and selflessness to their games which complements their individual talents. They are a hardworking, well organised and physically strong team, there passing play and overall style in possession would leave many a premier league outfit in the dust….
The boys had a tremendous 2024-25 season in the Teesside Junior Alliance, winning their league and putting in some tremendous away days on an exciting cup run. The boys have built on this success during the pre-season period 2025, winning two summer tournament and building momentum ahead of the new season.
Following promotion up the divisions, and moving onto the 9v9 format, the team of now 13 boys is preparing themselves for the 2025-26 season with a real sense of optimism and excitement.
