On August the 27th , the NAYFC ‘Under 13 Girls’ played a friendly match against Coulby Newham.
It was a game of two halves for both of the ‘Under 13 Girls’ teams.
In the first half of the game, we were slow out the blocks. We found ourselves 4-0 down at half-time. The team came for huddle looking pretty downcast.
We could not let that carry onto the next round.
At our huddle, we told the team to play with ‘passion’ and ‘desire’ which is something we speak a lot about during our development sessions.
Being a football takes strength, physically and mentally.
Our girls knew what to do.
And they did it.
They went out there and played with passion and desire.
At full time, the score was 5-4.
4 to our girls.
They played with passion and desire and pulled it round.
We are very proud of our ‘Under 13 Girls’ and their match.
