In July this year, NAYFC attended the ‘Grassroots Football National Awards’ which was held in Leicester.
We are happy and very proud to say our Manager/ Coach of Newton Aycliffe Youth and Women Team, Shaun Wilson, has taken home the National Award for Adults Grassroots Coach of the Year!
Shaun was recognised for recently helping a player rehabilitate. This was through adapting his training sessions to highly benefit their recovery and ensuring he was included in every training session to develop new friendships.
The ladies team view Shaun as an integral figure in their team. Shaun has helped each and every one of them develop and improve each session with compassion and drive.
Not only has Shaun been recognised for his hard work but so has the Youth and Womens teams on a national level.
The whole team give a massive congratulations to Shaun Wilson and praise him for all the help he has provided them with.
